The Squamish Soccer Association, with the interest of many user groups in mind, has been working hard over the winter putting together a proposal for consideration by the District of Squamish.  The DOS received an Olympic Legacy Fund from VANOC and various interest groups are vying for the fund.

The Squamish Youth Soccer Assoc. has modified their schedule to accommodate the Soccerfest Tournament.

In memory of Bobby Mahnger, the Squamish Soccer Association created the Bobby Mahnger Memorial Scholarship Award.

Despite the weather that we had on Saturday, the tournament went off without any major problems and on Sunday, the weather turned around for us and allowed the tournament to end on a good note once again.

The Bobby Mahnger Memorial "Outstanding Official" Award was presented to the recipient referee ...  RAJ SOMRA.
